Sekeping Serendah

Time flies. My 4 years life in UPM has ended. To bid farewell, we chosen Sekeping Serendah as our first and last trip. The place is far more better than I expected. Highly recommend this if you need a place for relaxing gathering.

Swimming pool middle of jungle. Jump into the cool water is really refreshing.

Say cheese
This is what Sekeping Serendah famous of, the glass house.
As you can see, it is glass instead of cement wall. Cool.
It accommodates 4-6 pax that's why we couldn't rent this.

Perhaps everyone will miss this moment after 10 years.

Da Dang... This is the so-called warehouse that we spent 2D1N.
Apparently, no walls. For the fist time, we do not have to get key when check-in.
There are 3 washrooms with one open air.
LOL
Provided with mosquito netting to cover the every individual bed.
Very spacious right?
Can you see the trees? Those are not chopped and kept nicely. There is even one big tree inside the washroom.
Dining table
The story of Sekeping Serendah.
Preparing for BBQ dinner. We were starving.
We brought food for BBQ.

Very nice ambiance at night. And it's cooling.
The next day.
They are my friends, whom I spent my 4 years with.

After came back from Sekeping Serendah, I went back campus for the last time to submit my thesis. Feel so unbelievable that 4 years has passed. Feel so grateful that I have support from family and friends all these while. Thank you and love you!!

Brought the 4 bags home my own. Seriously, heavy.
The first time I sent parcel, I sent to myself. It was costly.
Anyway, the last time. LOL

Pulau Pangkor, Perak

Hello everyone... Finally I have little time to blog about my Pulau Pangkor trip. It was a compulsory trip of one of my subject in this semester and we organised this 2D1N trip. I was so reluctant to go but just couldn't avoid.
We were assemble to meet 7.30am in the morning bus ended up departed at 9am. Oh yes... it was coincidentally on 428 Bersih 3.0 day. Too avoid the traffic congestion, the driver took the other route. Sadly, the coach weren't comfortable and the journey was kind of... never ending. The worst thing was we were sitting at the last seats and felt like on sampan. It made us suddenly all wanted to behave like SeoHyun who said there should be safety belt on bus seats. LOL We reached jetty 1pm+. I never know it is so far away. After simple lunch, finally we stepped on Pulau Pangkor at 4pm. 7 hours since departure.

The jetty bringing people to Pulau Pangkor.

Finally

There are a lot of van kind of taxi fetching tourists to chalet. It was way too scary. Seriously I thought I was on roller coaster. Oh my god... That's too rushing and speedy. Can be a feature of there too.
I have to say that it was glad for giving chance to choose our roommates. Gaming session started right after tea break on the beach.

Activity as scheduled ended nearly 12am. Everyone was fatigue. Failed to have pillow talk. LOL
Next morning was time for water sport on own expenses.

Interested?

The died coral.
We bought it back for friends who didn't join us.

Banana Boat
Ready, GO!!

Go for a round first.

The 'surrender' posture.

*DROP*
One girl shouted damn loud.
*SCREAM*

Heading to a small island where you can snorkel.

I like this.

They went snorkeling.
The bun is for fishes la. LOL

Take care of my camera and... nothing to do. LOL
Pulau Pangkor is larger than I expected. We went for island tour before leaving.

The weather was so HOT!!
Second ice-cream on the day.

Kota Belanda, the historical place on Pulau Pangkor.

12am only we reached campus, 8 hours!!! Fatigue. Tanned.

Pulau Ketam, Selangor

My semester 6 has begun. Hectic life gonna start again. But before that we had little escape from the city by heading to Pulau Ketam. Little did I know about the island so I tagged along. Specially thanks to the friend who went twice but still willing to lead us there again.

Isn't hard to reach Jeti Pulau Ketam. You just have to take KTM to Pelabuhan Klang, which is the last station, you will see this after you alight.

As you can see, the ferry ticket rate  is there.

Waiting to board.
Another option to reach Pulau Ketam is by speed boat which charge RM10 /person.
The differences are the time consumed and comfortableness. I prefer speed boat which takes 20 minutes to reach and you may feel the breeze. Ferry takes 30 minutes and you will be seated in the air-conditioned space. But it did not give me comfortableness.

We are on the speed boat.
Can you see the ferry behind? The red and white one. It looked so like sinking. lol

Set off!!
We are heading to Pulau Ketam.
We reached there before noon and started to hunt for food. One thing that I do not know about Pulau Ketam before this is that no motorcycle is allow at the island. So I can only see people riding bicycle or walking everywhere. Even little children can ride on big bicycle. Very impressive. Other than that it is a bit similar to Kukup in their scene. Narrow road, house and etc. But it is bigger than Kukup and more people doing business in Pulau Ketam.

My friend recommended this which is also recommended by local.
I shall call this nasi lemak. Look simple but I like the taste.
After lunch,we started to look around the island. We rented bicycle too. Pulau Ketam has very simple village background. People there can have everything supplied from the mainland. Primary school and secondary school are there too. One interesting fact I found is there is quite a number of temple on the island. This might be the believe of islander as some of them are fisherman or boat builder. And, I would say ketam is everywhere. No wonder it is called Pulau Ketam.
Another group of youngsters took this for us in exchange of being their photographer too.

The day was sunny and rainy afterward. I was tanned!! Anyway, we went out again for dinner after we reached campus. A great and fun day with you all!!
